“I just like to thank you for letting us learn about the horses and getting experience from them. Before I came there (Swan Center Outreach), I was feeling lost and unsure of what am I going to do in my life. It was the best thing that has happened to me.”
“If I had a horse, I would probably take them on a ride when the sun is rising, if I get the chance, so they can experience it as well. It'll be like an exercise for me and the horse.”
“I really enjoyed getting the experience of helping out with the horses and getting to know them better, and I still have much to learn. Once I heard from my trainer, Kristy, that Sugar was skittish and misses me, I felt less alone. I hardly have any friends due to my disability. Whenever I think of her (Sugar), she always persuades me to keep on moving and to do what I like to do, despite the obstacles. I'm glad and grateful that we're able to learn and experience with the horses.”
