The Swan Center for Intuitive Living established Swan Center Outreach - a 501(c)(3) non-profit, non-denominational organization, in 1999, for the purpose of animal rescue; the prevention of cruelty to animals; and education of the general public on the therapeutic and spiritual value of animals.
Rose Ashley, the present day Headmaster of the Swan Center for Intuitive Living, is a Swanéte Master, spiritual teacher, intuitive, and animal communicator. She served for 20 years as the Headmaster of the Swan Center Monastery, located in the foothills of the North Georgia Mountains, in Marble Hill Georgia. The monastery was a place where people of all walks of life and religious backgrounds could retreat to and experience God in nature.
During her time at the monastery, Rose decided to combine her two passions in life – helping animals and helping people. She began rescuing animals badly in need of rehabilitation, and then trained them to be therapy horses. She witnessed over and over again the miraculous, healing effects that horses can have on humans.
We view animals as teachers, healers and friends, because they have a wonderful capacity for teaching us compassion, patience and tolerance; for healing the mind and the body; and for showing us how to love and be loved in return.
